Product Details: SL24 Marine Warning Lights:

Marine Warning Light SL24 The SL24 3-4 mile LED lantern performs exceptionally well in low sunlight regions, or where heavy duty-cycles or a steady-light is required. The SL24 model is equipped with dual 12watt solar modules, is suitable for buoy installations, and will continue to capture sunlight as the buoy swings. A large number are installed throughout Britain and North America, and the unit is ideal for navigation, hazard lighting, perimeter lighting and a range of other applications.

The SL24 uses 20 ultra-high intensity LEDs as a light source, and incorporates a 7AH sealed battery coupled with two adjustable 12watt solar modules. As with all Sealite lanterns, the unit uses the Sealite LED 360 degree reflector (patents pending) which increases the intensity and uniformity of the horizontal output.

The lantern can be easily set on-site to any of over 250 IALA recommended flash characters, and 4 intensity settings. The 20 LED flasher units are interchangeable between lanterns, allowing the operator to replace the flasher unit with another color at any stage of the product’s life. The battery or lens can be easily replaced after years of service, and the internal components are encased in a large high-impact resistant housing.

Once installed, operation of the SL24 requires no operator intervention. During daylight hours the solar modules will charge the battery through an advanced switch-mode regulator incorporated into the flasher unit. The lantern will automatically begin operation at dusk – once the ambient light threshold drops sufficiently. Coupled with LED technology, and a highly efficient DC/DC converter, the lantern may provide over 25 days of continuous operation without sunlight.
