Product Details: SL125 Safety Lights:
 The
SL125 6 mile LED lantern offers a number of clear advantages to the user,
and has a service life of up to 12 years. The unit is used for navigation,
and has been adopted by some of the busiest ports in Britain, the Middle
East, and large military installations worldwide.
The lantern uses 108 LEDs as a light source, in 3
tier of 36 LEDs. The unit is completely sealed and vented to alleviate
pressure build-up through air exchange, without moisture ingress. Both
the lens and base are made from UV stabilised polycarbonate to provide
excellent impact-resistance, and is corrosion-free. Large resources have
been invested into Sealite moulding techniques, and permit high volume
production - reflected in major cost savings to the consumer. The standard
base pattern allows the unit to be easily fitted to existing structures.
The unit operates off a 12 volt battery system, and is delivered with
3 foot of standard cable for easy installation.
The SL125 lantern is inexpensive, and replaces more
costly traditional incandescent models. Users are finding that the cost
of a new SL125 is less than repairing damaged or faulty non-LED types.
The lantern can be easily set on-site to any
of over 250 IALA recommended flash characters, and 4 intensity settings.
The software includes a host of features such as battery charging protection
and continuous temperature monitoring, making the SL125 one of the most
advanced marine lanterns available.
