Product Details: Solar Powered LED Lights:
 The
lantern uses 6 LEDs as a light source, and incorporates a 4Ah high-grade
NiMH battery pack coupled with two 1.8watt solar modules of exceptionally
high efficiency. The shape of the lens, and the complexity of the tooling
and moulding technique highlight the depth of knowledge and experience
of Sealite staff. The design, based on computer-modelling data, successfully
allows the lens to capture optimum levels of low sunlight, by tilting
the solar modules towards the sun. Both the lens and base are made from
UV stabilised polycarbonate to provide excellent impact-resistance. The
lantern is completely sealed and vented to alleviate pressure build-up
through air exchange, without moisture ingress.
The lantern can be easily set on-site to any
of over 250 IALA recommended flash characters, and any of 4 intensity
settings. For easy storage and shipping, the lantern can be deactivated
via an ‘on/off’ toggle switch. The base of the lantern incorporates
a unique sealed battery compartment, allowing the user to easily replace
the battery after years of service.
