Port of Melbourne Launch Sealite NAUTILUS 2.2mt diameter Polyethylene Ocean Buoys
The Port of Melbourne Corporation recently launched Sealite Nautilus 2.2mt diameter ocean buoys with SLC420 solar lanterns in Port Philip Bay as part of ongoing improvements to marine safety.
Sealite’s latest buoy innovation, the Nautilus-2200, is rotationally-moulded from UV stabilised virgin polyethylene, and provides superior strength and longevity to products manufactured from steel.

Sealite’s roto-moulding division incorporates state-of-the-art proprietary machinery, with every buoy being ultrasonically-tested to ensure the correct wall thickness in key areas.
A range of buoy products are available from 600mm diameter marker buoys to the robust 3mt diameter ocean buoy, the TRIDENT-3000.
