Sealite Buoy Products & Award-Winning GSM Monitoring & Alarm System a Hit at OTC
Despite the global economic recession and concerns about the swine flu virus, attendance at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) was strong.
Held during May at Reliant Park in Houston, 66,820 energy professionals, service industries and suppliers from more than 120 countries attended to discuss common issues such as technological innovations, environmental protection and the economic, social and political aspects of ocean resource development.
Authorised Sealite distributor, Watermark Navigation Systems, displayed the latest marine navigation aids featuring leading-edge software and circuitry such as cell-phone and AIS monitoring.
OTC visitors were impressed by the range of Sealite buoy products including the Poseidon-1750 1750mm diameter Ocean Buoy, smaller SLB1250, and range of marker and mooring AtoN’s on display. To service the USA marketplace, Sealite buoy products are now available ex-stock from Watermark Navigation Systems.
Sealite’s award-winning GSM monitoring and alarm system (via cell-phone or PC interface), and AIS monitoring system were also popular displays at the show.
