Sealite’s BargeSafe™ Series now COLREG 72 compliant
The Sealite BargeSafe™ range of LED barge lights have been tested to comply with COLREG 72, which forms the international basis for legal navigation lights on vessels.
COLREGS are published by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) whose main task is to develop and maintain a comprehensive regulatory framework for shipping including safety, environmental concerns and technical co-operation. COLREGS are an international set of standard rules and regulations to be followed by ships and other seafaring vessels to prevent collisions at sea.
The BargeSafe™ LED barge lights are certified to UL 1104 with >3nm visible range. One of the most advanced in its class, the BargeSafe™ incorporates a host of innovative features designed to make the unit extremely user friendly.
